Internship — Communications & Digital Media
ECSA-HC seeks a dynamic and creative intern to support its communications and digital media activities. The intern will assist in content creation, social media management, website updates, and the development of multimedia materials to enhance ECSA-HC's visibility across the region.
The Programme
The ECSA Health Community works with countries and partners to raise the standard of health for the people of the ECSA region through cooperation, collaboration, research, capacity building, policy development and advocacy.
The Communications & Knowledge Management department is responsible for managing ECSA-HC's public profile, digital presence, publications, and knowledge dissemination across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for ECSA-HC's social media channels (Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Assist in drafting press releases, news articles, and feature stories for the ECSA-HC website
- Support the design and production of publications, brochures, infographics, and multimedia content
- Assist in managing and updating the ECSA-HC website and intranet
- Support media relations including press conferences, media briefings, and journalist outreach
- Contribute to the development of communication strategies for major events and campaigns
- Assist in photography and videography during ECSA-HC events and field visits
Who Can Apply
- Recent graduate or current postgraduate student in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related discipline
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is highly desirable
- Basic video editing skills are an advantage
- Nationals of ECSA-HC member states will be given preference
- Must be between 21 and 30 years of age at the time of application
