Internship — Finance & Administration
ECSA-HC sought applications from recent graduates in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields to support the Administration & Finance department. This internship provided hands-on experience in financial management, procurement support, and administrative operations of an international organization.
The Programme
The Administration & Finance department is responsible for the financial management, procurement, human resources, and administrative operations of ECSA-HC.
The department ensures compliance with international financial standards, donor requirements, and organizational policies across all programme activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and expenditure tracking
- Support the accounts team with data entry, reconciliation, and filing of financial records
- Assist in procurement processes including preparation of bid documents, evaluation matrices, and vendor management
- Support the HR unit with recruitment documentation, leave tracking, and personnel file management
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and responses to audit queries
- Support asset management and inventory tracking for ECSA-HC equipment and supplies
Who Can Apply
- Recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Strong academic record with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Nationals of ECSA-HC member states will be given preference
- Must be between 21 and 30 years of age at the time of application
