ECSA-HC and FP-ICGLR Forge Strategic Alliance to Advance Health, Governance, and Regional Integration

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – 26 October 2025. The East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC) and the Forum of Parliaments of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (FP-ICGLR) have today signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance health, governance, and regional integration.

The strategic alliance brings together ECSA-HC's expertise in health systems strengthening with FP-ICGLR's parliamentary advocacy capabilities, creating a powerful partnership for advancing health legislation and policy across the Great Lakes and ECSA regions.

The MoU covers collaboration in health policy advocacy, legislative capacity building, joint research initiatives, and coordinated efforts to address transboundary health challenges.
